Uganda has the highest school drop-out rate in East Africa, according to a 2010 report by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation. The Government’s free education policy for primary and secondary school is defeated by social issues, many of which are connected to poverty.
Yet the impact of investing in education cannot be ignored. Education is profound in steering a country towards economic growth while at the grassroots; it opens doors to an individual’s personal advancement and financial growth.
